The 78-year-old US president shared the seriously odd social media post on Sunday (1 June)
United States president Donald Trump has, once again, posted something totally baseless on social media.
The 78-year-old Republican leader, who has repeatedly spread misinformation and a number of debunked claims over the years, including that he won the ‘rigged’ 2020 presidential election and that former president Barack Obama was not born in the United States, has now been slammed once again for promoting a seriously bizarre theory about Joe Biden’s death.
One of Trump’s latest social media posts seemed to support the suggestion that Biden was secretly ‘executed’ back in 2020 and has been replaced by ‘clones’ ever since.
The post in question, uploaded by a pro-Trump account, reads: “There is no #JoeBiden – executed in 2020.”
It also went on to suggest that Democrats were unable to tell that ‘robotic engineered soulless mindless entities’ were running the country apparently posing as Biden.
“#Biden clones doubles & robotic engineered soulless mindless entities are what you see,” the post concluded. “>#Democrats dont know the difference.”
Trump shared the post on Sunday (1 June) with his near 10 million followers on Truth Social – his own social media platform he created back in 2022.
Unsurprisingly, people have shared their despair over the presidential office with one social media user writing: “Think about how low our political system has become – the president once again posts QAnon nonsense.”
They continued: “This is the norm, not the exception. Trump’s communications include a constant stream of idiotic internet conspiracy posts.”
“Your President, America,” a second penned while a third chimed in: “I really don’t see how America comes back from this administration. Jesus wept…”
Another added: “This is Presidential behaviour now.”
“Remember when this would have ended someone’s political career?” pointed out a final person.
The LADbible Media Group has previously reached out to both the White House and Joe Biden’s office for comment.
Trump’s seeming support of the Biden conspiracy theory comes just a few weeks after the latter announced he had cancer.
In a statement released by his office, it was revealed last month (18 May) that the 82-year-old Democrat, who left the White House in January, had an ‘aggressive form of cancer.’
“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms,” the statement read.
“On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterised by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”
The statement continued: “While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management. The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”
According to Cancer Research UK, a Gleason score of nine means that the cancerous cells ‘look very abnormal.’
It also means the disease is ‘likely to grow quickly.’
